Bruce & Kimberly… of The Oregonian….
You are the best.
We have found friendship and genuine character in these 2 people. Today they spent the morning with Joe and Samuel at his swim lesson, followed them home to play in the park, hang out and document it all.
For those of you who don’t know… Bruce & Kimberly were with Joe in Haiti… they were at GLA and helped escort the 81 kids home to the USA, they were with us the moment we became a family. It was all crazy how the story played out – the Oregon connection and “hook up” in Haiti, the time at GLA and the opportunity to document this incredible story. I think it was pre-destined and feel so lucky that Samuel will have this connection to Haiti (and HIS story) because of these 2 people (via pictures, videos and text.) We have had the pleasure of getting to know Bruce and Kimberly over the past few months and both of them just make you feel “at home” and like you have known them for years. I hope… Samuel’s life is surrounded by people like this…
