We didn't make any plans for the 4th of July... just decided to take it easy, relax and get packed for our vacation. But it turned out that our neighbors (who also have an adopted daughter) brought over some of those "snap" things - the ones that crack when you throw them on the ground. So Samuel got to try those out and seemed to have fun with it.
It was absolutely crazy/loud, starting at around 8pm - midnight. I have NO IDEA how Samuel slept, but he didn't wake up once last night. It honestly sounded like a war zone around here, but miraculously - he slept through the whole thing!
Joe and I headed up on top of our roof (that was a new thing) to check out all that was going on - crazy. I put a short video clip below...
I love the picture of the two kids with the American flags! So sweet and what a great, new experience for the both of them :)
