A Chip Off the Block (does it apply with adopted kids too?!)

I LOVE this kid. I had to post these pictures because I had absolutely nothing to do with what transpired here. I just always keep the camera nearby for moments like these!

I was cleaning up after dinner and Samuel was getting into the cupboards... Joe started to tell him "no" and then stopped when he realized what he was doing... He had pulled out the little broom and dust pan and went over to a dirty area on the floor and started cleaning!!! CLEANING I SAY! Then he went over to the little kitchen area rug and picked up the dirt with his fingers and placed it on the dust pan.  He then went to the garbage and dumped all the dirt in.  And to top it off you ask?  He put the broom and dust pan back in their place!  I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP, I PROMISE!  :-)

He is so much a combination of us - are we really sure he is adopted?! [Insert big grin here.] He is a lover of water, he likes to be clean, likes things to be organized, he is someone who lights up when Starbucks is near, he likes airplanes and sunshine and Tom kha gai soup!

He is a truly chip off the old "blocks!"
