We decided to go through the lists and documents for Samuel's USCIS appointment next Wednesday - so we finally read the letter that we received last week (in more detail.) It all looks so good - "Interview Date" and "Interview Time" - WOO HOO! I can hardly believe this is finally going to happen…
But then I read it closer and got a good laugh out of this because this statement sounds so “James Bondish” and secretive! Like the next sentence should say something about being escorted out and taken to an un-named location if we look to the right or left.
"Place this letter in the basket next to the door of room 106, then have a seat in room 106 and wait for your name to be called."
I've been following your story and blog since the quake hit in January. Your story is truly amazing and your son is adorable! Best of luck at your interview on 9/22.
