This was Samuel’s FIRST football game (a day Joe has been imagining for a long, long time.) We have season tickets, but chose not to sit in them and instead went down on the track so Samuel could run around (oh, and so we could use BOB, of course!) And as it turned out, we had quite a few friends (and their kids!) who were also at the game so that was fun for him (and us too!) Samuel had what seemed to be a really fun day… he made some new friends and just enjoyed playing in the sunshine.
It was also really nice to see our college friends. These are people we have known for years and it is always so good to visit. Quite honestly… I am not sure if I saw much of the game – it was more fun to chat!
I asked Joe tonight if this was everything he had hoped for (his first football game with his son) and he said “definitely… couldn’t have been better!
Here’s to FALL and FOOTBALL…
