I know... this is CRAZY! I never honestly thought I would be a person to do this... but we started about 3 years ago and decided it was kind of fun (as long as Starbucks was open around the same time!) And it is fun to go downtown Portland with all the lights and Christmas decorations early in the DARK morning.

And this year, we took Samuel with us - he did great. If you don't count spilling his vanilla cream all over BOB while at Starbucks!
The only mistake was going to Target - the check-out lines were horrendous, so we opted to just head home.
