Subject: Hurricane on its way to Haiti!

Hurricane season is over!  Someone forgot to notify Hurricane Tomas that it was not supposed to form and come to Haiti!

We have worried about a hurricane hitting Haiti since May.  We thought we had got through the season without bad weather.  There has been deaths in tent cities just from heavy rains!  What are they going to do with winds of 80 to 110 miles per hour and heavy rains?  Supposedly it will hit the south coast of Haiti on Friday afternoon.  It will stay over Haiti slowly moving northward until late Saturday and we will probably start getting rain and winds early Friday and last until maybe Sunday!

I hope and pray that the Haitian government and the international community comes up with safe buildings where people can go to be safe!  I am scared for those living in tents or temporary wood housing.  I am afraid that we will see more deaths if safe buildings cannot be found.  Pray for the people in the tent cities and in temporary wood structures.  Pray for us at the orphanage that everything will be ok and the children and staff will be safe.  I pray there is not a lot of damage.  We already have so much clean up still to do in Haiti.  We do not need to add more to what is already here!
