I realize it has been awhile since I posted on the blog – SORRY! I think I have been waiting for some topic worthy of posting, but life is just going along with no huge events. But I have received word from a couple of people who were concerned that something was wrong with the pregnancy, given I hadn’t updated in awhile, so I wanted to get something posted to address that.
- I am happy to report that everything is going along as it should (or at least from what little I know!) with the pregnancy. We hit the 3rd trimester last Saturday (which I guess is pretty amazing news!) It was a big milestone for us and we are still counting our blessings every day. I will go in tomorrow for the glucose/diabetes screening.
- Samuel is doing great… Well, other than some coughing and deep, scary wheezing that has left us discouraged (it has been on again / off again for the past couple of months with no treatment or indication of what triggers it.) But other than that, he is really doing well and we are so thankful for him. A big step was that we moved him downstairs to a new bedroom. We wanted to do that well-before the baby arrives so that he could transition without feeling left out. He amazed us and has been sleeping through the night just fine (and seems to like his new room!) We were prepared to have some rough nights, but so far things have gone really well. INSERT HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF.
So… not a lot of news, but I wanted to let you know we are alive and well!
