Sam and School

This week marked the first official week of summer for both Joe and Samuel...  it was bitter-sweet, given the need for us to change Samuel’s school next year.  We LOVE Bright Horizon's and Samuel has just thrived there with some really special staff and teachers...  So last Friday was really tough on everyone...  

But he had a great last week at school, as they did some fun things to kick off the summer season (special lunches, Hawaiian day, played with water tables, etc...)  We will be visiting the school all summer, so that he has a chance to transition a bit and see his teachers, but not going 5 days a week will be a big change for Samuel.

This week he is going to our fitness clubs “Kiddie Kamp” – which only goes from 10am-1pm, but he had a good day yesterday.  They played tennis with balloons, played on the play structure AND got to go swimming (obviously his favorite!)  Joe was able to catch a few glimpses of him, while he worked-out in the gym.

PREGNANCY:

I am down to 25 days until my due date (though we all know that means nothing...)  I think there should be a due date "range."  In reality it could be anytime from here on...  so I am trying to get prepared for that.  It is really hard to believe the time is almost here!  It is a struggle to stay comfortable at work because he is facing the wrong way inside of me (face up) so he is literally growing "into" my organs (his rear-end is pushing into them.)  But at least I am on the home-stretch...  I just have to be tough.  :-)
