Three "S's" - School, Swimming & Sunshine!

Samuel and Joe attended another half day at his "new school" today (just visiting for now...) They had a bounce house there, so Samuel enjoyed playing on that. He also stayed for lunch and was able to hang out with his new classmates and teachers. Joe said he did well and respected the teachers. We are still struggling with the school change - and trying to "ease" him through the transition. We are so fortunate that he can still go to his old school one day per week, through the summer... he just loves it there.

After naptime (and today that went for both Samuel and Joe), we headed for the health club pool. It hit 85 here today, which was SO VERY NICE! It finally feels like we are having summer. Samuel and Joe played in the water, while I sat with Luke and did some people-watching. I enjoyed just being outside... I also took Luke for a walk outside while "the boys" were napping - felt good to get some sun and fresh air.

I looked at Luke this morning and noticed he has really gained some weight. I feel good about that - he is getting healthy and strong. The colic has seemed to have "lessened" a bit the past couple of nights. He has just been awake for the normal 1am and 3am feedings (awake and fussy, but not that painful, non-stop crying.) I really hope the colic will subside - though won't hold my breath.
