Luke's doctor's office called yesterday afternoon - to check and see how he was doing. I gave her the latest eating update and she spoke with the doctor and they decided they wanted to check his weight. So we went in at 9am this morning... Luke weighed 9lbs, 14oz - which is exactly what he weighed last week. So the doctor decided she wanted to do an ultrasound to check his Pyloris (region of the stomach.)
So we were sent to the hospital where we waited... and waited some more. Finally we were called back for the ultrasound. It looks like that turned out normal (relief!) so we are now just in wait and see mode. They are thinking maybe there is some kind of reflux... but we don't yet know what would be next.
I am thankful that little Luke didn't have pyloric stenosis. Our son had that and it was hard, just like your last bought at the hospital. Fortunately we had great doctors at Emanuel to attend to him but still. I am praising God that Luke was spared. I pray he will keep gaining weight and growing. Take care!
