What a great weekend! We crammed in a lot in 2 days with my parents... It is always so nice to go home and just relax. I appreciate the "farm" very much and M&D helped make this experience so much fun for Samuel!
Samuel actually got to take control of the and drive not one, but two different tractors! He also had his first experience digging potato's with grandpa John... AND... Joe too, got to drive a tractor for the first time ever! Luke was pretty low-key and spent a lot of his time in the baby carrier, taking it all in (he also got to hold a potato - see pictures!)
Some other good memories:
- Driving to Elgin with dad for ice cream
- Playing Yahtzee with mom
- Going on a "dirt-road" walk with Joe and Luke while Samuel was napping.
- Sitting outside on the warm, summer evenings
- Good dinners!
- Watching the deer
- Enjoying watching Samuel spend time with M&D
We made the trip back to Portland today (with mom in tow!) She is going to hang-out with us for the next week (thanks dad for sharing her!) :-)
