We spent most of our day enjoying some sunshine in the pool! Joe stayed with Luke until he fell asleep in BOB - and then Samuel came out after his nap. We all had a great time playing in the water! We then decided to go on a walk (there is a great trail around the town.) We saw rabbits, geckos, chipmunks, butterflies and birds... We also stopped a play structure to let Samuel have some fun. It was HOT, but it's a dry heat, so not nearly as bad as Portland at the same temperatures.
Tonight, Joe grilled, while Samuel and I made rice and salad (he is a very good kitchen helper!) Samuel also got to open a Thomas the Train station set that we got him at Wal-Mart earlier today (it was half price and too good to pass up, as it is hard not being able to bring much in the way of toys for him to play with in the evenings.) He is playing with it now and loving it...
Joe is with Luke on the couch... :-)
