We had a really nice weekend with my parents... It was one of those "fall, football and family" kind of weekends! I love those - very warm, safe and cozy feeling. We went to church, enjoyed visiting and also watched a good DVD for those looking for something - it is called "The Perfect Game."
Anyway, we decided we would carve pumpkins - always so much fun! Samuel wasn't sure he wanted to participate when we got started, but quickly changed his mind! Dad helped him carve a pumpkin (thanks dad!) Dad said he was amazed at the end of the process that one of them wasn't seriously injured! Samuel had a great time and was all ready to "take-on" trick-or-treating - he was pretty disapointed when we told him he had to wait a week!
