This was a VERY last-minute interview with Channel 8. I just happened to be home with a sick baby Luke, so I was able to support the request (though I was pretty hesitant.) They had left a message on my cell and I didn't pick it up until 30 minutes before they wanted to "stop by." I told them Samuel was at school and didn’t think I my comments alone were enough to make this story (Samuel is the focus!) but they wanted to talk, to make a more complete story…
Whenever we have done interviews in the past, it is always my hope that they will mention supporting GLA (I always make sure it is a discussion topic of mine) but it got cut out of the story. L I do think they did a nice job on the story, as a whole. I just really want to continue to get the message out there - to continue to support Haiti!
Oh and we are apparently from Tigard now, not Portland. J
