It has been an enjoyable, relatively quiet weekend. Joe and I both have Monday off (President's Day) so that makes the weekend extra nice... because it is extra long!
We have enjoyed time together. Joe and I had a "real" date-night last night (Samuel's teacher from his "old school" came over to play with the boys last night!) So Joe and I did the usual - enjoyed our favorite tucked away pub booth and talked about goals/finances. It is so nice just to be able to visit with no distractions...
And today Samuel and I made scrambled eggs together. He even got to crack and egg (a bit messy, but worth the learning experience!) The boys also took baths (I attempted the sink for Luke this time, which actually worked out better than his baby bath tub!) We then went on an outing to the mall before nap time (mostly just to get out and walk around!) Joe also managed to do some yard work, while I sorted through bins of clothes for Luke. Can you believe Luke is now wearing some of Samuel's items (from when he first came home in 2010?!) That was SO strange to me... Luke isn't a "large" baby by any means, but he is really long, so he is wearing 12-18 month clothes!
Then this afternoon, Joe took Samuel to meet a good friend for some "visit time" and pizza! Which meant I got to spend time with little baby Luke. :-)
All in all... it has been a nice weekend! I really could use more 3-day weekends... :-)

I love Luke kissing and Hi Fivein the baby in the reflection. So cute,
