We got up early this morning and snapped some pics outside - what a view to take in when you wake up! Samuel came down and snuggled in the "big bed" for awhile and then we got ready to go and headed to Burlington, WA to meet up with Jana and Kerdern's!!! (Samuel and Kerdern's are both from Haiti/GLA and came home after the earthquake together.) This was such a super morning; the boys got along so well and really had a fun time playing while we chatted and caught up on life.
It was such a meaningful way to spend our morning - we are thankful this worked out, as we have been trying to see each other for a couple of years now!
And the drive is beautiful for sure - I was able to take some pictures of the bridge today (actually room to pull off this time!) And we saw some F-18's fly by on our way home!
