An Early 4th B-Day Celebration For Samuel!

My parents and niece stayed with us last night, as they were flying off to Kauai, HI today. So we decided to have an early celebration for Samuel, since we don’t often have family in town during special occasions. We had a Spiderman theme – both my mom and I added to that effort and it all came together quite well! Samuel had a fun time, as did we all!

AND…

Today Samuel got to fly with daddy to Seattle, have lunch and fly home! I had planned this awhile ago, knowing we would be at the airport anyway (for my parents sendoff.) So I used miles (I am accruing quite a lot as of late!) and it was Samuel’s “special” 4th birthday gift! He and Joe had a SUPER time and he really enjoyed it.  When they got home Samuel was talking non-stop about airplanes (how that kid loves his airplanes!)

While they were enjoying a father/son day… I got to spend some much needed bonding time with my little Luke. We enjoyed playing and hanging out together.  It was a special day.

So all-in-all… this was one fun 4th birthday celebration for all! (I just wish we were all getting on that plane to Kauai with my folks!)  :-)
