We had soccer this morning (opted to stay out of Luke's swimming one more week due to his ear infection.) And then we went and picked up my nieces! They are going to be staying with me this week, while Joe is gone. We decided to head for the pool at our club, given it was in the mid-80's today and we really had no other pressing matters. We enjoyed our day very much and it was a nice way to spend it with the boys (before Joe headed out.)
We were able to get the bags checked and then have dinner together, before he had to head out, so that was nice. It was his Father's Day dinner. :-) It was hard saying good-bye, but I am also very glad he can go on this trip.
