I probably won't do the content of this post justice... Such a busy couple of days! Joe's birthday is TODAY! We went out to dinner last night (while Kendra watched over the boys) last night. Funny as we went to the same restaurant (Chart House in Scottsdale) that we did around 2007 for his birthday... it was a nice way to celebrate!
And today? Cathleen and Anri arrived from Michigan!!! We picked them up at the airport around 9:30am and we have spent the entire day playing in the pool and catching up! Cathleen and I are good friends - the bond we formed was via Haitian adoption, and intensified during (and after) the earthquake in 2010. We haven't seen Cathleen since January of 2010... so it was SUPER that she and Anri could come spend part of our vacation week here in AZ! We are bummed that Kent couldn't join in the fun, but will plan on that next time around!
Anri and Samuel and truly having a fabulous time together. It's amazing how quickly kids can form (or re-form) friendships! They had a wonderful time in the pool today and have been playing NON-STOP! Fun times for sure!
