We went on our last run/walk of vacation (and of course had ANOTHER flat tire!) Can you believe this - crazy... but we were almost finished when it happened. And we were able to pump it up enough to get through the airport - whew!
We played in the pool one last time - it was sort of overcast, so I suppose that was fitting for our last day. We had snacks and then we had to pack up and take Cathleen and Anri to the airport. It was really hard to say good-bye... We had a wonderful vacation and truly enjoyed each other's company... like Cathleen said she truly went home with no extra baggage (the emotional kind that can come when you share vacations 24x7 with people.) We had a wonderful time...
We were going to hang out at the house for 2-3 hours (until our flight) but decided instead to drive to Camelback Mountain and visit the Phoenician Resort. Joe and I stayed there a few years ago and rememberd an easy/short catcus walk. So we got to see some new sights and show the resort to Kendra.
We then headed for the airport... we were thrilled with the boys! Samuel watched Nemo with Kendra and Luke slept for about 1/2 the flight. YAY! It's hard to be done with vacation - but we also appreciate home and getting to normal routines again. We sure had a great time though!!!
