We had a really nice evening last night. We put the kids down for bed, had a nice pasta dinner and then we sat outside and visited until 10:30pm or so.
We put our feet in the pool and watched airplanes land (they had been completely backed up with the dust storm, so there was a lot of activity!) There was also some amazing lightening strikes happening, so it was quite a show.
I got up early to enjoy the beautiful morning desert sunrise. I love that about morning-time... It's still a bit "strange" with the dust storm in the atmosphere, but still very amazing to view. The sounds also make me calm - crickets, doves and the sounds of quail flapping their wings + bunnies hopping through the brush. Ah... love it here.
