We have been waiting for Kendra to paint her toe nails orange (we got her this color as her school color is orange!) She finally got it done, so I thought it needed to be documented!
The owls! These are THE CUTEST little owls I have ever seen. Samuel loves them and calls them "his." They have become sort of like the turtles in Kauai for him - "owl watching." Here is what the owner shared with us about these little cuties: "In the front courtyard to the house, three or four endangered species desert pygmy owls, which have taken up summer residency there. There are less than 100 known to exist in Arizona, and I am thrilled to have this little group hanging out in the courtyard."
We headed into Scottsdale for dinner... we did a bit of window shopping before-hand (Joe found an appropriate stuffed snake made just for Samuel...) and then we ate at the Old Tortilla Factory... good dinner (too much, but yummy!)
