Friends, Fun & Football at Linfield!

It was one GREAT day for football and Linfield… Perfect weather, super friends and a WIN (30-9!)

We planned a complete last-minute (well, night before) tail-gate party with the Curry’s (I didn’t even know Linfield had a place that accommodated this type of activity until today!) Kevin brought the grill and we enjoyed a little BBQ (even convinced him to grill our “veggie” dogs despite his disgust.) :-)

As we were heading to the game, we ran into Safford’s and Nelson’s (completely unplanned) so that just added to our fun. The kids had a fabulous time playing, the guys enjoyed some “guy time” in the stands, and us women caught up on life! We also found Ken Smith later on… This is a solid group of friends and we felt blessed today. We have all remained close since college, which is pretty special. We all seem to get together at random times, and not all together – but all of us are connected, forever.

AND – I also FINALLY got to meet Rori and her family (they are currently in process of adopting 2 siblings from GLA.) So that was wonderful – we have been “chatting” via email for quite some time now and it was great to visit F2F!

And last but not least… HAPPY 41st Birthday to Mr. Scott Safford!
