We had absolutely no plans this weekend, so it was nice just to hang out with the boys... We went on a run/walk, got groceries, went to the bookstore and BBQ'd. We played trains, made cookies, started on some Halloween decorations, put together a care package for my nephew at college and played outside. AND... Joe told me I needed a pedicure today (how special... I really enjoyed that break!) And tonight we enjoyed eating outside and then put Lukie to bed so that we could enjoy one of the last nights with Samuel making S'mores. I can tell this is really special for him because he gets M&D "alone" time. He helped me say a heart-warming prayer over Luke in his crib - and then we headed straight out to roast those marshmallows!
Tomorrow morning, I will be traveling for a couple of nights to CA for work. It is so hard to leave my boys...
