Luke slept the entire flight to PHX - what a huge weight lifted. He can be VERY stubborn and difficult when he wants to be so we were pretty concerned... Samuel was a gem, as usual. :-)
We had a long wait at the rental car place - frustrating, as I am a preferred member (where you should go straight to the car.) But because of Spring Training, cars are in high demand and they simply didn't have it ready. So we had to wait longer than we would have liked, but in the scheme of things - not a big deal. We stopped off for groceries - kids did great - and then headed to Verrado.
We got unpacked and drove Samuel nuts, given he just wanted to get in the pool! Finally... Joe jumped in the pool with both boys, while I grilled some chicken and made dinner. It's so nice to come to a place that we are familiar with - easy and comfortable. Luke was all cranky tonight, given his schedule was pretty messed up, but he is sleeping now. Not sure how the night will go for him, given we have no crib. He is sleeping in-between pillows on an air mattress, so we shall see. :-)

So jealous since i have had a taste of the food life. I thought Arizona was "ours". :)
