We had a fantastic time celebrating Luke's 2nd birthday! We spent the morning at the zoo (decided to get there before the heat got to be too much.) We all enjoyed the adventure, given it had been awhile since we had been there...
We put the boys down for a nap and had expected to have the cake and presents when they woke up... HOWEVER, Luke was NOT in the right mood to do that, so we went to plan b and headed outsite to play in the little pool. That did the trick and suddenly, all in the world was right in Luke's eyes! :-) The boys enjoyed it so much, they asked if they could take there clothes off in the heat. And we figured, what the heck, it IS a birthday, so "birthday suits" were quite appropriate!
We then moved into the house and enjoyed the cake and opened presents. It was a fun day...
But boy are we HOT... it's about 100 degrees today - and for Portland, that's pretty hot.
