After our morning pool time and nap time (all 3 kids napped at the same time - amazing!) we walked to ice cream. It was HOT, but the ice cream tasted good. They have Where's Waldo posters up at many of the shops, so we enjoyed finding Waldo while we were out & about.
When we returned, Joe and I were trying to think of something we could do that we might get a bit of a break - however the boys were all for hitting the pool again, so given it was out last full day, we went with that plan (easy, close, cheap.) We took shifts again so that Rachel could be inside in the A/C (and it also helped each of us to get a bit of a break.)
Samuel went and found "his friends" (3 teenage boys who have been playing with him this week - really nice/good kids.) So Samuel enjoyed hanging out, watching them throw the football while jumping into the lake (they would also toss him the football on occasion.) We tried to get Samuel to jump in too (with life jacket, of course!) but he said it was just too cold! But boy you could tell he wanted to act like the "big boys" and do it. He kept trying, but just couldn't bring himself to jump into that cold water.
I was also able to convince Luke to get out of the pool (I needed a break from the tossing/jumping game!) So we watched the boys too - and that actually kept his attention as he cheered them on.
