Samuel had a fun "first practice" at soccer tonight! He had been looking forward to it all day... This is going to be a good activity for him (good energy-burner!)
We had a babysitter come over tonight so that we could both watch his first day - so glad we did that!
And the best side-story is that we had met Shannon & Drew at a Ridgewood summer academy drop-off this summer. We found out Drew is Samuel's age and we also knew they went to our church. And even better? Her husband, Todd, went to Linfield as well. He also graduated in my class and played basketball there...
So - when we saw Drew and his mom at soccer tonight, we were really thrilled!
