We are blessed by Kimberly's beautiful storytelling and Bruce's gifted photography! And even more so that they were both alongside Joe (and on the plane with him) coming home with the kids from Haiti in 2010!

We got to spend a wonderful day with them (plus others!) at Linfield College this past week, for a class I was asked to coordinate on News Media & Communications: Samuel's Story (Media in a Crisis Situation.) It was an amazing and fun group of people who all played a role in helping to bring Samuel home after the quake. I was so thankful to them for participating in the class!
It's crazy how vivid the memories still are in our hearts... And how we still pray for Haiti and all that they continue to go through.
