We had a wonderful weekend... We had given my parents tickets to Cirque (Kooza) for Christmas, not knowing that we would have our little one at home by now! So we had to get our act together and find our first "regular" babysitter. Fortunately it seems we have found a super one and they did great together (she even brought sidewalk chalk and a beach ball!) The show was super (as always) we all love the Cirque - and I was pleasantly surprised with the cool seats I had carefully selected for their gift last year (I really didn't remember that at all; love those moments in life!) :-) I don't have the greatest pics below, but obviously I had to do it a bit undercover.
Then we got to celebrate Samuel's b-day a bit early (May 9th is official) because my parents got him this great wagon and wanted to be here to give it to him. Dad put it all together for him (THANK YOU DAD!) and we all took him for a spin and walked to the park.
And if that wasn't enough of a great weekend... we decided to use the 'ol zoo pass once again and we headed for the zoo on Sunday afternoon. We all had a great time and the weather was perfect...
I guess the only negative was that we can to cancel our plans to go out to dinner last night... Samuel was not feeling well at all and we all decided we didn't want to put him through the pain of being good in a restaurant, nor did we want the stress of a sick kid on our hands. So, we watched a movie (Holes) and got Subway sandwiches...

Yay for family and fun weekends.
