Yay! We are finally getting our countertops in today! We had started this process pre-earthquake and just haven't been able to get things coordinated and finalized until now. We have been living on plywood (which actually has proven to function, as an FYI for everyone... just not my preferred "look!") :-)
So Joe took Samuel to the rec center for some playtime, while the contractors came in to do the work! I am so excited to get home and see it in person! He sent me the below picture of the progress thus far.
