We had absolutely NO PLANS going into this weekend... pretty pathetic given it was both Mother's Day and Samuel's 2nd Birthday, huh?
Well... I am taking a lesson from myself on this one. It was a GREAT weekend and no advanced planning was required. We had a nice weekend and ALL of it was spontaneous because, as I said, there were no plans. At one point we thought we might head to the coast, but opted to stick around and enjoy the mid-70's weather we are experiencing in PDX right now.
We made a cake, picked rosemary, made baked spaghetti, played in cake, opened gifts, played in water, enjoyed a Mother's Day wine (well, mom of course!) and have had a lovely day...
I don't think I need to add much commentary, as the pictures will tell the story for this day... I sure am thankful I got to share my first Mother's Day with our first "official" celebration of Samuel's b-day though...
Happy Mother's Day Jill!!!! I am so happy that you are spending this Mother's Day with your son!!! And, Happy Birthday to Samuel. I can't believe he is 2 already. I remember those early referral pics when he was just a tiny peanut. So glad you had a great weekend!
