Our cool friends, the Curry’s, stopped by yesterday to drop off a gift for Samuel (thanks guys!) What is also fun is that Samuel and Katie share May 9th as their birthday! On Saturday, Katie had forwarded me an email that she sent to me 14 months ago… here is part of what it said (as she stated, it was quite prophetic!)

You might have figured out that once in a while, May 9 falls on Mother's Day. It did in 1999, and I was so happy that my 30th birthday was also my very FIRST mother's day. Well, this day will fall on mother's day again next year, in 2010. I am taking that as a good sign. I think Chancelet's 2nd birthday will be spent in the arms of this mother on mother's day. :)
In being perfectly honest, at the time I received it last year, I thought to myself: "I sure wish, but there is no way that will happen, given the timelines."
I guess you can never predict what life will bring your way, huh? I am so VERY thankful for the way things played out... I will also now listen to WHATEVER Katie has to say!
