We just put the little munchkin to bed. He has such a good heart. We said a prayer for him and he ended it by saying "amen." Then we said "we love you" - to which he responded "a-la-ya." And he rolled over... and the lights went out. We love this kid.
So... we went on a walk tonight. It was warm. It was nice. We played soccer in the park (and made basketball work out of the soccer ball too - why not?) He giggled and ran and laughed and rolled in the grass with us. It was magical. Like that moment when Carrie is running down the hill in Little House on the Prairie.... honestly - that is how it felt in my heart! :-)
And then we went on a search for animals! Samuel was so cute as we watched for wildlife... we hunkered down and whispered quitely looking for movement. He was very interested in following the rules so that he could view the birds and rabbits that were hiding.
