I opened up a big package of adoption paperwork sent by Bethany (adoption agency.) It is the ORIGINALS - finally, we have them in-hand! I went searching for a specific document (the last signature - attest - that Dixie was working on.) And I think I found it - it is dated "May 6th, 2010" and looks to be the form I think we needed.
We will now wait to be contacted by the USCIS for our official face-to-face appointment and see if we can get this adoption moving along! They have until 9/30 to contact us, but I hope we hear from them soon.
