Wednesday's Turtle Room Update

Dear parents, Today has been a wonderful day! This morning we played on the bark chip side of the playground. The children went down the large slides, up the rock wall with the chain, went into the garden, went down the cork crew climber, and filled dump trucks with bark chips. In the gym we ran around, played on scooter boards, and bouncy balls. This afternoon it started to rain! Yuck!  So, we asked the children what they would like to do because we need some more ingredients for our raspberry muffins that we will make on Thursday. The children said, cars!!!!" So we decided to make two different roads for the children to drive their cars on. One road was made from colored masking tape, while the other was made from large puzzle road pieces. The children loved it!!!! They played for almost an hour. My goodness it was fun. We socialized, observed each other, used our small motor skills, and hand and eye coordination. Great afternoon!
