Today is Veterans Day... we are very thankful we have a day set aside to honor and thank all who served in the United States Armed Forces. This day also means a "day off" from school for both Joe & Samuel. (We don't get this day off at my work.)
However, Joe had signed up to take a First-Aid/CPR class today (he needed to get it done, given he starts swim coaching on Monday) before we realized Samuel didn't have school either. So... that meant I had to take a vacation day and stay at home with him. While it's tough to miss work - I have no issues spending the day with my little Buck (his nickname is "Buck".) I really enjoy these days as they are few and far between!
We have enjoyed our day together! We went on a run with BOB, went to the store and played at the park. Joe just got back from his class - so Samuel will wake-up from his nap very excited to see him!
