The Big News...

Well...  it's been a loooong few months, not knowing when (or if) we would finally feel "okay" to share this news...

But when we hit the 20-week point last week (halfway there!) and checked off some critical boxes - we felt like we can now let people know (and I sort of needed to given I won't be able to hide it much longer!)

I am pregnant!

This wasn't something we thought possible, and given our history, we have been extremely cautious thus far...  But things are looking good/on-track right now.  Our family certainly hasn't been formed in a traditional sense, nor with traditional timelines...  but we also know God works in wondrous ways sometimes (and in His own time, which is working out just fine for us!)  I couldn't imagine life without Samuel - and so we know things needed to play out in just the right sequence...

We went out to dinner last week and found out that it is a BOY, due July 16th.

After receiving the news

The Little Left Foot  :-)
We had just made the decision to move forward on adoption #2 when we found out the news, so we are sort of in a holding pattern with that right now.  I am s-l-o-w-l-y learning that you just can't plan for everything in life!  :-)  And if all goes well, we will both have 2 kids before turning the big 4-0 this year (just in the nick of time for Joe - by a few days!)  Pretty amazing...
