But when we hit the 20-week point last week (halfway there!) and checked off some critical boxes - we felt like we can now let people know (and I sort of needed to given I won't be able to hide it much longer!)
I am pregnant!
This wasn't something we thought possible, and given our history, we have been extremely cautious thus far... But things are looking good/on-track right now. Our family certainly hasn't been formed in a traditional sense, nor with traditional timelines... but we also know God works in wondrous ways sometimes (and in His own time, which is working out just fine for us!) I couldn't imagine life without Samuel - and so we know things needed to play out in just the right sequence...
We went out to dinner last week and found out that it is a BOY, due July 16th.
