Luke is really HOME!!!

Joe and I had an appt. at the hospital this morning and had planned to head over to the NICU after we were finished. When we got out of the appt., my mom had tried to call and I was worried Samuel was giving her a hard time. However, when I called her she told us that the nurse had called to tell us that the doctor had cleared Luke to GO HOME TODAY! We were overjoyed and so surprised... so we headed home to get his "go home" bag and also get mom and Samuel for the event.

Mom had to wait with Samuel for quite some time in the waiting area while we went through the dismissal process and fed the little guy. But when we finally came out, Samuel was so excited! I am so glad they both were there to share the moment with us.

We are now at home. Luke is sleeping peacefully - we can't believe we are really home. Praise God - what a blessing of a day - July 2, 2011!

We will visit the pediatrician tomorrow and hopefully all is on track.
