GLA Colorado Springs or Bust! And... A Sick Little Luke.

Luke isn't doing very well... SIGH. He is having issues keeping any food down, so I called the advice nurse and she wants to get him in to the doctor today. So we have an appt. this afternoon... I pray he is okay and that it will turn into "no big deal." But she said at his age, they don't like to mess around (especially with his history.)

The timing of everything was bad... because Joe JUST left for his parents house (3.5 hours away.) He is picking up his parents and driving to Roseburg, OR in the morning. We rented a U-Haul for God's Littlest Angels orphanage, and will get the truck loaded with donated orphanage items (they have been sitting, waiting for a pickup plan for months...) So when we were trying to figure out the logistics of everything, we were thrilled when Joe's parents offered to drive the truck to Colorado Springs (where the US GLA headquarters are located.) From CO Springs, it will get on the next container bound for Haiti!

I asked Joe to blog some pictures/thoughts along the way... so hopefully you will get some updates on this adventure...

And I will keep you updated on Luke... like I said - hopefully it's nothing. But I am "on my own" with the 2 little boys today/tomorrow, until Joe returns from Roseburg.
