Our doctor came in and spent a lot of time looking him over and talking with us about any sicknesses we have had, or that he may have been exposed to. She then had another doctor stop by and give his assessment on things (they talked for quite some time.) There are improvements with Luke, but there are also some things that just aren't dealt with yet (biggest being his constant fever.) He also has a low white blood count and a high heart-rate. So our doctor wants to re-do some cultures, and blood tests (just got that taken care of with the nurses - quite a process.) We also just took him for another chest/abdomen x-ray. We really like this doctor - she wants to try to figure this out.
We have no idea on the timeline of going home right now... sort of in limbo, just waiting to see how his fever does and if they find anything with the new tests/lab work.
Big thank-you to the Curry's who are going to help relieve my parents this afternoon and play with Samuel! My parents will then be able to come to the hospital and see Luke...
