Grandma Claire ("GG" as Samuel calls her) celebrated her birthday earlier this week, so we were able to get together with some family members yesterday afternoon and Uncle Brian and Aunt Linda's house in Lake Oswego. 4 of 5 sisters (Joe's mom's sisters) were there so it was fun to catch up with them. It took Samuel a bit of time to warm-up, but once he got comfortable, he was all smiles... We had a fun time.
And tomorrow? My dreaded 40th birthday. I guess I am not really stewing over it too much - though at times I have to pretend I am just turning 30 in order to find the artificial energy for a 3-year-old and 5-month-old! :-)
