I made it home safe and sound from my trip to San Jose last night (I have gone 3 weeks in a row now and it doesn't look like that will change in the near future.) I only stay one night though, which makes it "do-able." Not ideal, but I am enjoying the new job and Joe is supportive of "Jill's positive attitude" (and he says he will deal with the extra burden on him because of it!) The job is crazy/busy - with a huge program launch coming up in May, so I just need to be working with the team on a lot of things "on-site" right now.
But this morning we were all able to go to school for drop-off... something we have purposely changed (that we both participate whenever we can.) I think it is good for the kids and good to have support in getting through the morning logistics! We can't always both be there, but when we can, it's nice...
