- Joe and I were fortunate enough to have TWO date nights this weekend! It just worked out that way, as we were getting a backup babysitter “trained” and this weekend worked for her… But we also realized we don’t necessarily like being away from the kids two nights in a row, so we probably won’t do that too often.
- Samuel enjoyed soccer with his friend Marcus
- We all enjoyed the 80 degree weather! We went on a few walks, runs and even sat out on the lawn.
- I snapped some pics showing Luke’s bottom teeth and his hair is finally getting long enough to have curls (took long enough!)
- And we end with chocolate chip cookies, of course! :-)
New job? Going well, but there is a lot to do. I am traveling to CA each week (just for one night at a time) as I need to meet with people there as I ramp up. But there is a lot to get done in a VERY SHORT timeframe to launch an entire program. It is stuff I know and actually do enjoy, but there just isn’t near enough resources to accomplish it. When I start to get overwhelmed and feeling like I will never pull it off, I just try to step back, pray and break things down into smaller chunks. I hope I can make everything come together okay…
