Day 2: Morning (Lake Chelan)

We are not disappointed with this vacation choice. This place is perfect for us (with kids) as we are able to enjoy the lake, pool, walk to downtown/parks, etc... It's a great people-watching spot and there are so many activities to see: float planes, parasailing, boats, jet skis, etc... The kids are taking it all in! It is also neat that we have both the pool and lake to enjoy.

We went on a walk this morning and enjoyed seeing the town (and getting Starbucks of course!) The only unfortunate part was that we stopped at a baseball field and Joe got stung by 2 wasps (or "wisps" as Samuel calls them.) Yikes! We high-tailed it outta there!

It was amazing today at the pool/lake, as both the kids jumped into the lake (with life vests on of course!) Samuel did it by himself at first and then Joe took both boys. Luke actually wanted to keep jumping in. These boys amaze me with how comfortable they are in the water...

Joe and I traded off today for Luke and Rachel's naps, which works well given we can see the other down at the pool too.

We are feeling very thankful to be here - and given this special time as a family.  It's still not "easy" with these little ones (always have to be "on" - but at the end of the day, we know how blessed we are and how far we have come.)

Cool Float Plane!
