It was a great night, but also hard knowing we had to leave soon. We enjoyed dinner in our room - no TV or movies playing, as we just visited and enjoyed our food. :-) Then we headed to Disneyland for a couple more rides (Pooh and the Rockets.) Everything else had really long lines, so we just took our time and enjoyed taking it all in. (We also got a big ice cream cone!)
We found a great spot on Main Street from which to view the fireworks - we had to wait about 30 minutes, but Samuel was very patient. (And he enjoys people-watching like me, so that was good.) The fireworks were excellent, once again... They do such a great job with them... It runs out that Samuel LOVES the fireworks, so I am glad we went back again. We had Fast Pass tickets for the CA Adventure water show, but he wanted to see the fireworks instead (which was absolutely fine by me...)
We got up early this morning, got all packed up and headed for the airport. It was hard saying good-bye to Disneyland. This has been one VERY SPECIAL trip for the two of us. Samuel is a great traveling companion and I am so glad we had this time together...
We both miss Joe, Luke and Rachel, so at least we can look forward to seeing them soon!
