Wonderful Day with Kate!

We started our day off with a long walk (it turned into about 2-hours!) It was such a lovely morning with blue sky, nice breeze, sunshine, etc... we got Starbucks, went to Whalers store and then just took our time looking at fish, plants, geckos, houses, etc. along the way. We chatted and just enjoyed hanging out and taking in the sights. Rachel slept for most of the time, so no issues there. Samuel had his heart set on finding "Gary the Gecko" - which he eventually did (on the rocks!)

We then spent time at the pool and ocean! Just enjoyed having TIME and no plans whatsoever! Samuel decided he wanted to go to the ocean, so we spent most of the time looking for shells, which was great fun! We then headed back to the pool and got Rachel in the water for awhile.

We had a bit of time together at the condo before Kate had to head to the airport... We walked her to the lobby and said our good-bye's. VERY HARD. It was such a wonderful 24-hours and we were both so glad we made this adventure work!

After Kate left, we went to a restaurant in the new shopping area - yummy pizza, salads and soup.  And of course we had to stop at Lappert's for some ice cream!  Silly Samuel just wanted plain vanilla!  :-)  We did a little shopping and made it back to the Marriott in time for some story-telling by the fire pit, which was a fun way to end the evening.
