This was a blessing of a trip... it came at a time when I REALLY needed a break from work. AND, we were able to spend some quality time with my parents, which was REALLY special. We were also able to take along Dora, who helped us out immensely (thank you!)
It's certainly NOT easy going on a vacation like this with 3 kids, ages 6 and under, but looking back, I know the effort and "drama" was well-worth it.
We made some super-special memories and got to share those moments with others, which meant a lot. I love Kauai – it's like my second home and I feel at peace there. We played in the pool a lot and also got to snorkel & build castles at the ocean. We went to the canyon, hiked along the Heritage trail, went to a luau, took and adventure to the North to Hanalei and experienced an AWESOME sunset at the Beach House for Joe's birthday dinner. We went on long morning walks, saw pretty flowers and ate some yummy fish!
We are all missing it already and cannot wait until we return!
