Jury Duty

JURY DUTY:  For the first time ever, I received a letter for jury duty.  Tomorrow is my day, so I will soon find out how this process works.  I absolutely believe in supporting the system and I didn’t want to postpone..  however it’s not something I am excited about either.  We live at the very edge of the county line, so the drive is far.  Plus I have to miss work.  Oh, and did I also mention that I am 6.5 months pregnant?  Regardless of all that, I will do what I need to do and hope this will check off that box for several more years!

SAMUEL:  Thanks to those of you who gave some ideas/tips on Samuel’s wheezing.  I contacted the doctor ONCE AGAIN and she said to get him in to see about possible asthma issues, so we will work on getting something scheduled.  He is doing better today (at least the wheezing part) but that is the typical cycle.  It lasts about 2 days and fades away for a couple of weeks.

PREGNANCY:  There are about 75 days to go on this pregnancy (if all goes as it should…)  Still hard to believe.  He is kicking me a lot now (right in the ‘ol rib cage) and should be around 2.7 lbs now.  Joe and I have our 2nd maternity class at the hospital tonight.  I am not sure how much of it we will retain, but hopefully we will glean a few good tidbits to help get us through the process.  J

I do have to say it’s odd to already have a toddler in our house (and have a good grasp on how to manage), but yet not have any experience with a newborn and what we are about to face.
